Guess who?

Hi everyone! This blog is supposed to be about my feelings of being an online student. First of all, I love the flexibility! I am a full time mother, full time student, and I work full time! I do like the anonymity of it because I feel like I can "speak up" and not get looked at funny! Although other students may laugh or wonder "what in the world is she thinking" I don't see their reactions and I feel a little more confident about what I say- er write. I do feel that we could have a better chance at becoming a closer school community if we knew what each other looked like! That's why I put up a picture of me and my daughter taken just before Christmas. I also think that maybe we could offer some of each others email addresses and we become online friends we can be more comfortable in class and on the discussion board. Given that, I will post up my email address and my AIM on the DB as well as our blog page. I think I had already posted those, but I will repost! Thanks for your time guys!!! See ya.... Welcome all Comp II students!!!

Hello everyone! Welcome to blogspot! As you can tell, I have been blogging for only a short time now, but I am carrying over from when I took Comp II the first time around. This is an interesting place to come and feel free to be yourself, if that's what your comfortable doing! I have added a new profile picture. I feel that sometimes it is a lot easier to feel like your getting to know someone if you can see their face! I like to freewrite and hopefully I will be doing that a lot more in the near future, it helps me release some stress and get some stuff out! Lost Paper

Hello all! I know it has been so long since I have been on and blogged! I have been so busy trying to rewrite my research paper! I don't know what happened to all of my drafts. I have recently switched computers and am still trying to learn how to use everything! UUUGGGHHH! It's frustrating! And not to mention that everyone has been sick for the last week and a half and now I think I have the flu! I took some time out of work and am trying to recover.

Plagiarism

Being in these Comp classes for college have really opened my eyes to the severity of plagiarism. I did not understand all of the ins and outs of copying someones work. I know that I would want to receive proper credit for my own work and would be very upset if someone took credit for something I did or said! I cannot think of any real life experiences that I have dealt with personally, but I'm sure we have all heard of someone copying work from someone else in the music industry, right? That's one of the first things that comes to my mind... okay...I guess that's it for now. Got to get ready for work...

Hi everyone! I'm creating this blog for an assignment in my college comp class! I'm a "rookie" at blogging! I don't think I've ever even seen a blog or a blog page before! hahaha...
Speaking of "rookie," has anyone checked out that new show- "Rookie Blue?" hahaha- I kind of like it! I have not had the best of times with cops before, but this show is not too shabby!
